WHAT GOES IN MUST COME OUT
 
Baby cats like baby dogs need to be stimulated in order to urinate or move their bowels. Probably not the funnest chore, but again strengthens the bond and helps cut down on clean ups. It isn't difficult.  We hold kitty in one hand, wet their bottoms with a little running warm water and massage gently.  We hold kitty directly over the litter box and let the mess fall.  One more quick rinse and a brisk towel drying and ready to go.  We start by doing this 3 times a day.  By 6 weeks or so they go on their own and will naturally go to the litterbox.
 
BATHTIME
 
Alot of baby kittens enjoy the water.  We bathe our babies with johnsons baby shampoo once a week or so till they are old enough to groom themselves.  Even then they do have a tendency to want to play in the water.
